The holidays are a special time for reflection, appreciation, and displays of gratitude towards our friends and loved ones. Chapman50 was honored to join Chapman University leaders including trustees, governors, donors, and top administrators at a Chapman holiday party hosted in Newport Beach on December 16.
"The holiday party reminded me of the great privilege it is to be part of the Chapman Family. It's always a pleasure to reconnect with old friends and meet other members of the greater University body," commented Maci Peterson '09, co-founder and CEO of On Second Thought and Chapman50 member.
Members had a front row seat to the 107th Newport Beach Boat Parade, while people on the boats in the harbor were in awe and pointing out the venue of the party, John Wayne's former mansion. This annual event is a great opportunity for all members to come together in the holiday spirit to reflect on memories made in the past year and build on friendships heading into the new year.
"It's amazing how the Chapman50 holiday party has come to feel like a family event in such a short amount of time. It exemplifies what can happen when great leadership and amazing people join to create extraordinary moments. With the new year upon us, I am looking forward to an incredible 2016 for our Chapman50 family," said Jonathan Sanchez (MBA ’13).
