Vice President, St. Joseph Hospital Foundation
Chanda Parrett has over 20 years of experience in fund development. For the last 16 years she has held several leadership positions with the St. Joseph Hospital Foundation and has served as the foundation vice president and chief development officer since 2011. Previously, she had the roles of executive director and campaign director and completed a number of successful capital campaigns including the recent completion of a $100 million comprehensive campaign. Prior to coming to St. Joseph Hospital, Chanda worked in public relations for the Orange County Performing Arts Center for four years and was a director of development for Chapman University for four years, specifically in corporate relations and individual major gifts.
Chanda holds a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) credential and a Certified Specialist in Planned Giving (CSPG) credential. She is also a graduate of the St. Joseph Hospital Mission and Mentoring and Ministry Leadership Formation programs.
Chanda enjoys giving back to her profession and has provided training for the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), the Association of Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP) and other professional entities. She has served as a board member for the AFP Orange County Chapter and as an AFP Mentor.
In her spare time, Chanda enjoys taking French classes and traveling throughout Europe. She was also a recent member of Villa Park Rotary.
Chanda graduated from Chapman University in 1989 with a bachelor of arts degree in communications and in 2002 with a master of arts in organizational leadership.
