Producer, The Bold and The Beautiful
Daytime Entertainment Emmy Award® winner Casey Kasprzyk is producer of The Bold and the Beautiful.
A native of Southern California, Kasprzyk knew from an early age that he would work in the television industry. Having a life-long love of game shows and dramas in both primetime and daytime, Kasprzyk graduated from Chapman University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Film and Television Production and from Loyola Marymount University with a Master of Fine Arts degree in Television Production. For his master’s thesis he wrote, produced, and directed a documentary entitled, “Come on Down” a travelogue from fans of The Price is Right across the United States of America.
It was fitting that during his last year of college that Kasprzyk signed on to be an intern at The Bold and the Beautiful in order to obtain an insider’s working knowledge of the production of a successful television series. During his final year of graduate school, Kasprzyk was hired full time. He was quickly promoted from production office staff to production assistant in the control booth. His commitment to, and passion for, the series was noticed by executive producer and head writer, Brad Bell, who promoted him once again to production coordinator, then associate producer, and in 2010, to producer.
In addition to working with the producers and directors in terms of creativity, storytelling and production value of the series, Kasprzyk’s talents have been instrumental in a new look for the series including establishing shots and main titles. He also produces, along with Brad Bell, the series’ new media projects including the “The Clarence Update” and “Bold Chat Live”.
During a sweep at the 38th Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards® on June 19, 2011, The Bold and the Beautiful’s producing team received their third consecutive Emmy® for “Outstanding Drama Series”. It was Kasprzyk’s first Emmy® Award and his second nomination. In 2011he also received an Emmy® Award nomination for producing “The Clarence Update”.
In June 2011, The Bold and the Beautiful received its sixth Golden Nymph Award at the International TV Audience Awards in the “Telenovela/Soap Opera” category at the Monte Carlo Television Festival. In 2010, Guinness World Records® named The Bold and the Beautiful the Most Popular Daytime Soap Currently on TV. The Bold and the Beautiful is the most watched daytime drama series in the world, seen daily by more than 35 million people in over 100 countries.
